The new Lite-Brite collaboration with Vitro-Robertson and Asics shoes.
It is the new Guinness World Record and is nearly 8 times larger than the original Lite-Brite record I set in 1999. It is 9 x 14 feet with approxiamately 350,000 actual Lite-Brite pegs. The image incorporates all 8 Lite-Brite colors and took 6 weeks to complete with the help of three assistants. My main assistant on this project built the massive aluminum frame that holds the metal "canvas". It sits top its own wheeled base and has its own trailer for its U.S. tour. It weighs under 600 pounds and is easily moveable on its base.
My original "Giant Lite-Brite" spawned the Lite-Brite as art craze in 1999 when it was nominated as a new Guinness World Record.
