About Lori Kanary
Born Atlanta, Georgia-1971.

I am a Denver based contemporary
artist. I have been drawing and painting my whole life
using art to express how I view the world around me,
jumping from fantasy to realism and everywhere
in-between. I do not believe in specializing in any one
medium alone and will use any material that my creative
vision calls for in order to complete the concept. On top of doing gallery shows since I was 12 years old, my work has appeared in Artopia 2000, the Denver Summit of the Eight 1997, Guinness World Records and many citywide events. I am largely self taught. I prefer pulling my ideas from life, using self created techniques and approaches.
